These educational institutions, which are based on Nahdlatul Ulama's practices, under the auspices of the Amanu Waru Foundation, held the 2025 National Santri Day ceremony. The ceremony was held in each educational institution building, from MTS Darul Ulum MA Darul Ulum, SMP Wahid Hasyim, and SMA Wahid Hasyim, simultaneously on October 22, 2025, which is National Santri Day or HSN, which has been designated as a National Day by the government. Therefore, educational institutions, both Islamic boarding schools and specifically Jamiyah Nahdlatul Ulama along with NU's banom, simultaneously throughout the world held ceremonies to welcome HSN 2025. The event began in the morning in the courtyard of each educational institution. All school principals and the Amanu Foundation acted as ceremony inspectors. After the ceremony, the event continued with a parade or procession of Amanu students covering four institutions. The ceremony began with attractions from Pagar Nusa Nu and the marching band of SMP Wahid Hasyim. The event was attended by approximately 3,000 students from four institutions under the auspices of the Amanu Amanat Nahdlatul Ulama Foundation, Waru District.
