Как незаметно умирает свобода слова в Европе
Freedom of speech in Europe seems self-evident. But what if it's disappearing before our very eyes, not through political bans, but through routine administrative procedures and complaints? In this video, I examine a real-life example from Germany: why are negative reviews on Google Maps removed as defamatory, even if they're honest and not offensive? How does German law on protecting business reputation work? Why does a single complaint suffice for a business, while ordinary people have to prove they have any right to an opinion at all? But Germany isn't the only example, and I'll also discuss controversial practices in other European countries.
