All Locos by Trainzpedia Consist by HAKIM Route By NIT PANITRA; SPOT ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On September 23, 2022, a viral post revealed that the CC 201 92 01 locomotive belonging to the Jember depot was wearing a vintage PJKA livery with yellow and green stripes. There was some debate about whether the CC 201 92 01, or si 91, had been wearing the RnB (red and blue) livery since its arrival. However, after further investigation, it turned out that several CC 201 batch 3 locomotives, including si 91, used the PJKA livery, which was later changed to the RnB livery. Locomotive CC 201 92 01 officially entered service on April 6, 1992, with the factory number 46789. 91 was stationed at the Bandung Depot and operated various passenger and freight trains, belonging to both Operation Area 2 and other Operation Areas. Unfortunately, this locomotive was involved in a collision with an Argo Gede train in the Plered area in November 2007. This resulted in the rear fog lights, or LH, no longer being in their original condition. With the arrival of newer locomotives such as CC 203 and CC 204, CC 201 91's service did not extend as far as it once did, serving several local trains and even on shunting. Finally, in 2009, he and his younger brother were transferred to the Sidotopo Depot, or SDT. The 91's services at SDT are varied, ranging from long-distance passenger trains to freight trains. But I find something unique about it: it seems to be specifically designed for service on the Surabaya-Banyuwangi route, similar to the Mutiara Timur executive business class train. And sure enough, in 2011, CC 201 91 officially moved to the Jember depot. This locomotive's move was both happy and sad news. Because 91 was the first CC 201 locomotive owned by the Jember Locomotive Depot, and the sad news is that its move signaled the imminent end of the era of diesel-hydraulic locomotives on the Daop 9 route. CC 201 91 once had a unique characteristic, when the Jember KDT team painted every lamp strip and even the window rubber blue. So weird... but cool, huh? lol. The 91's move to Jember was actually to replace the BB locomotive, which often suffered from illness while serving on the Tawangalun train on the Malangkota-Banyuwangi route. But occasionally, this locomotive also served on other trains, such as the Pandanwangi train on the Jember-Banyuwangi round-trip route. As Jember's CC 201 locomotives grew, 91's service journeys became increasingly erratic, often extending farther and farther, even straying into Operational Area 1. Wow, that's really far... Unfortunately, 91 abandoned the distinctive features of the CC 201 batch 3 locomotives. This involved replacing the oval-shaped front cabin glass with a square one, like most CC 201 locomotives, after undergoing final maintenance at the Yogyakarta Yasa Center in 2017. During the Locomotive Acnization period, 91 also received an air conditioning installation. Unfortunately, 91 was involved in an accident with another vehicle, causing its front fog lamps to become unusable... wow... 2022 is a special year for 91. It's finally back in service after nearly two years of temporary conservation status. This time, it's even been given a special livery: Vintage, aka the old-school livery. Wow, congratulations, Dipo Jember! The presentation of this vintage livery also commemorates the 30th anniversary of CC 201's third year in service in Indonesia. 91 is adorned with the Wahana Daya Pertiwi logo and a new license plate on the side of its cabin. 91 is the most unique CC 201 locomotive to date, as it's the first CC 201 locomotive to use the vintage livery but with air conditioning.
