"Behold" (Demon) by Seokso | Geometry Dash 2.11

Seokso has made some great levels in the past, and I've uploaded a few of them on the channel. I remember doing it, but I don't remember exactly what they looked like throughout nor their names. That's not to say they weren't good. They were very good. There's just so many good levels made that it's difficult to remember those things for all, especially ones made over a year ago. However, this level is on another level of quality compared to those, so I'm sure I will remember this even better. This is definitely Seokso's best level thus far. There isn't really anything for me to nitpick on here. The visuals are great from start to finish. Every part has some art or effect that draws your attention. The block designs and decorations do just enough as well, and the colors stay interesting. When the transitions between each part are this great too, for example at 1:27, you've got a visual masterpiece. It doesn't have too much thematic coherence from part to part, but I'd argue a level like this doesn't necessarily need it. In many ways, it's like White Space, and that comparison is certainly not made lightly by the way, with how it changes from part to part. It's like a journey through someone's mind, and it stays engaging from start to finish. Sometimes you see levels that look this good come with not so good gameplay, but luckily this isn't one of them. The gameplay is quite good. It's intuitive and feels fair all around. There's nothing that stands out as frustrating to play. I'd recommend practicing the second half's Ship parts in particular as they are probably the hardest parts of the level, but not too hard. They offer a nice challenge for what is the climax of the level overall.
