Professor Mikhail Kiskin, RAS, Chief Researcher at the N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, RAS, discusses this topic. Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kiskin is a professor at the RAS and Chief Researcher at the N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, RAS. His research interests include the chemical design of new, unique inorganic and organometallic molecular materials based on transition and rare earth metal compounds and the study of their physicochemical properties. He has proposed and implemented original methods for producing a wide range of heterometallic compounds used as precursors in the synthesis of complex metal oxides and building blocks for the targeted synthesis of new types of highly porous coordination polymers.
