Lawyer Ndegwa Says There Is No Proof President Ruto Was on the Plane Allegedly Tracked by Halima

Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru tells Court there is now way that a Judicial officer can test the veracity of the allegations that President Ruto’s private jet was tracked without the manifest of the plane. The lawyer told court that there is no evidence before the Court to show that indeed president Ruto was on the said plane alleged to have been tracked by Halima ( a woman suspected of publishing President Ruto’s flight details online). Further, the Court heard that President Ruto cannot make a complaint because he enjoys constitutional immunity and as a result he cannot be called to appear before any court for cross-examination hence the complaint against Halima violates her right to fair trial because she will never have the opportunity to face her accuser in court.
