Marcus Santos teaches the Tamanquinho rhythm which comes from his hometown Salvador, Bahia in Brazil. The video covers the basic pattern for Timbau, Repique and Surdos. Agogo and Caixa were also added to this video although they are not traditionally used by the Timbalada group, creators of Tamanquinho.
