Bishop David Oyedepo makes a Messiah of himself: he offers himself as the means, just as Christ did in John 12:24 to 26, as the source by which his followers would receive whatever they desire: his lying on the altar was the symbolism of his death by which, just like Christ to true believers, Bishop Oyedepo's followers would attain whatever they wanted in life! Didn't Christ indeed say false prophets and false Christs would arise! May the Lord Jesus Christ use this to wake someone up to the evil masquerading as Christianity in our day.
