Cape Town – Seeing the Minstrel Carnival for the First Time! Ep 242

We were so excited about visiting Cape Town on this day. It was the second new year and this was when the Minstrel Carnival was taking place. Seeing them up close for the first time was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was tangible. Everybody around us, and us of course, couldn’t wait for them to arrive. They took a break right where we were standing and we had a good look at their colourful make-up and costumes. When they started again, their energy was up and the music was loud! We could feel the beat thumping with our hearts! After that we took a drive to Table Mountain and Signal Hill to see the cableway and the view of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
