As the time passes Kiara tries to get close to Simba inviting him to play but He keeps rejecting her. Later, while Simba is searching for a watering hole, He bumps into Shere Khan: a tiger living in the jungle who claims his territory and attacks Simba. During the fight Simba is pinned down by Shere Khan and unabled to move when Kiara appears and, in order to distract Shere Khan, She challenges him so He leaves Simba there and follows her instead. Kiara manages to escape while Shere Khan falls off a cliff after trying to get Kiara. Soon after, Simba and Kiara reunite and She tells him what happened. Simba is surprised and touched by Kiara's actions that He decides to let her getting close to him and He finally accepts her. Simba starts to consider Kiara like her own daughter and, as the years go by, the bond between them become stronger each day. One day, during the hunt, Kiara meets a stranger lion and She seems very curious about him.
