How can I use the same pitch on two strings?
You know what’s cool about the electric guitar? EVERYTHING. But I don’t have that much time, so let’s talk about some of the musical opportunities afforded to us by this idiosyncratic instrument. I this video I am using the melody of one of my songs called “I’m Throwing in the Towel” to show some of the possibilities of being able to play the same pitch in more than one location on the fretboard. Note: in this video I am tuned down a step, but I am talking about the melody as though I am tuned to standard tuning.
