Stop Wasting Distance: Learn How to Practice FAST

Is club head speed a "natural gift," or is it something you can actually practice? In this video, I’m breaking down one of the biggest myths in golf: that you’re either born fast or you’re not. The truth is, speed is a skill—just like putting or chipping. If you practice it the right way, you will get faster. But just like any other skill, if you stop working on it, it will deteriorate. I’m documenting my own journey to get my speed back into the 120s. After taking a break from speed training, I’ve seen my averages dip from 117 mph down to 112 mph. It’s time to get that back. In Speed Session 1, I walk you through: The "FAST" Mindset: Why I don't care where the ball goes during these sessions. Technique vs. Effort: Breaking down my 60/30/10 rule for swinging fast. The "Jump Move": How hip extension adds that extra "pop" to your ball speed. Rotational Feels: My specific rehearsed movements to ensure I’m generating speed efficiently. Whether you're 20 or 60, you likely have the physical capability to hit the ball further than you do right now. You just need to learn how to practice FAST.
