Taurus 992 Compairson of proformence .22lr to .22win mag.

https://www.patreon.com/user?u=147138... after having and shooting the992 for a while. I wanted to test the performance head to head of .22lr to .22 mag on bench and paper. I find there is some issue. I have all way's though there was a deference in the way a convertible .22 handgun was board. And this test seems to bare that out. I believe most of the guns of this type and board and calibrated to .22 win-mag and can be made to shoot long rifle more as a marketing ploy. The ammo long rifle to mag are not in the same class. L.R. being of the common swaged lead some times with a copper wash. Where as the Mag's are more in the class of center fire rifle with a lead core and a formed copper jacket. do your own testing see what you find.
