Vintage 1987 Hoover Turbomaster Electronic U5080

Hoovers 1980s flagship upright. For me, this is Hoover at it's best. They are great cleaners The Turbomaster replaced the Senior/Powerplus models in 1987 and is typically 80's. With such new and innovative features as variable power, cord rewind, hard floor cleaning mode and a bag check light. Early models such as this one came without on board tools however, the Total system with tools was launched in 1988 to coincide with the launch of the smaller Turbopower Total systems. A separate tool kit was available as an option on the tool-less versions. The Turbomaster was also available in the US as the Innovation, however they didn't seem to be quite as popular over there. A great upright with unparalleled carpet cleaning ability.
