In this video, I'll show you how to correctly install a bottom bracket with bearings on a bicycle. The procedure is the same for 26" and 29" aluminum or steel bikes, from mid-range to entry-level models. You'll learn: How to prepare the frame threads Which side to start installing from The correct thread direction What grease to use and where to apply it Why the square taper axle is installed dry How to prevent noise and lateral play This procedure applies to MTB bikes with a BSA-type threaded bottom bracket and a square taper axle. ⚠️ Important: The square taper axle is not greased. Pressure is what secures the lever correctly.
