Jetour Auto's new long-range luxury electric seven-seat SUV, the Jetour Shanhai L7 PLUS, has attracted considerable attention since its official images were released. Continuing the Jetour brand's "family travel" DNA, the new model demonstrates impressive product competitiveness with comprehensive improvements in electrification, intelligence, comfort, and other dimensions. According to Jetour's official statement, pre-sales of the Jetour Shanhai L7 PLUS will officially begin on August 18, with the launch date scheduled for the Chengdu Auto Show. Users primarily prefer plug-in hybrid SUVs because they demand a certain range. The Jetour Shanhai L7 PLUS is equipped with the Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system, consisting of a 1.5TGDI hybrid engine and a P1+P3 DHT structure. The system delivers a total of 265 kW of maximum power and 530 N·m of torque, delivering smooth and responsive power. More importantly, this model offers a CLTC pure electric range of 220 km and a total range of 1,700 km, enabling all-electric driving for daily commutes without worrying about range on long journeys. It is equipped with a CDC electromagnetic suspension system that adjusts suspension damping in real time according to road conditions, considering both daily comfort and handling stability. The concave and convex headlight strips, harmoniously blended with the exterior's concave and convex body surfaces, lend the vehicle a powerful and avant-garde overall feel. The spacious interior also allows the Shanhai L7 PLUS to easily accommodate five to seven seats, providing the flexibility of daily commuting and the practicality of long-distance travel. In terms of spatial layout, it offers 32 seating combinations and four "flat-lay" modes. The seats can be configured to function in a variety of scenarios, including a large bed at home, a small travel bed, a large bed for driving, and a parking seat. This flexible and versatile space design provides a suitable vehicle for use, whether for a long-distance solo camping trip or a short relaxing trip. The second-row seats feature 131° infinitely variable electric adjustment, and the comfortable ride of the cloud-like seats significantly reduces fatigue during long-distance drives, truly reflecting the "human-centric" design concept. Regarding safety, a top priority for users, the body is constructed from 86% high-strength steel. 21% of this steel is hot-formed steel, providing a strength of up to 1500 MPa, creating a robust and "rock-solid" body. The battery is protected by various safety measures, including IP68 waterproofing, a 20-ton pressure-resistant structure, and millisecond power failure protection, ensuring complete safety.
