It's day ten of Rebecca Reusch's mysterious disappearance, which begins the second of three parts of the true-crime documentary. Ten days in which the family has already feared for the life of the then 15-year-old. But things are about to get worse: Rebecca's brother-in-law, Florian R., the husband of her older sister Jessica, is under suspicion. He was the one who might have been the last person to see the teenager. The then 15-year-old was staying with them the night she disappeared. The two sisters spent the evening together, while Florian R. was at a belated Christmas party and didn't return home until late. Rebecca's brother-in-law is arrested. It's a shock for the family: "My daughter completely collapsed. [...] We calmed her down. Then I said, 'It'll all be cleared up,'" says Rebecca's mother, Brigitte Reusch. Florian R. remains silent in custody, but his previous statements do not match the findings of the investigation. When Rebecca's brother-in-law comes home early in the morning of February 18th, he doesn't go to sleep immediately – contrary to what was claimed. He watches porn on his cell phone. Update October 20, 2025: Berlin police have been searching the property of a 72-year-old woman in Tauche in the Oder-Spree district of Brandenburg since this morning. The woman is the grandmother of Florian R., Rebecca Reusch's brother-in-law. There is evidence that the now 33-year-old brother-in-law killed the then 15-year-old and brought her body, at least temporarily, to the grandparents' property.
