Make sure you are towing safely! It is very easy to check the weight of your trailer and should be one of the first thing you do after purchasing it. CAT scales can be found all over the country and are very simple to drive on to get your weight. It can be a little intimidating at first because they are designed for semi-trucks. Don't worry though as the process is quite simple. The second half the scale portion is finding out the tongue weight of your trailer.
