Experimenting with Unfamiliar Tools
I'm going to pull out some studies and experiments with the aim of playing with tools that I don't regularly use in my process. Once in the recent past, I felt stuck and uninspired, so I made a daily practice of working only with a few colors and unfamiliar tools. What resulted was a lot of inspiration to explore a certain limited palette further, as well as using silicone shaper tools as my primary tool. So I'll be searching for other tools that I don't use very much and experimenting. If you'd like, find a few tools that you've been ignoring, forgot about, or have shyed away from and join me in some good, ugly play!
