I never mention it on camera, but the MPC is running JJos 2xl, although most of the principles apply to free JJos at least, and likely stock too. Maybe I'll go into closer detail with just the MPC. Everything you see I purchased used on reverb or ebay. Even though it's almost 15 years since it's release, the MPC1000 is still a very strong 'brain' for a hardware setup. Sampling, sequencing external gear, acting as it's own sound source, all with a logical work flow.
