Today, my story got a BIG look on CMT, and I have never felt more grateful. But sitting and watching it for the first time with Ty Herndon was almost too much to bear. My friend, with so much talent, exploded onto the country music scene in the 90’s when it more important be straight than it was to be honest. But over the years, artists like Ty have started coming out and laying the groundwork for artists like myself to tell our HONEST, TRUE stories about what it’s like being LGBTQ.
