QM/MM Energy Decomposition Analysis in Biological Systems: the Cisplatin/DOPC Case
We extend a density-based Energy Decomposition Analysis scheme to a QM/MM framework to characterize the intermolecular interactions present in biological systems. We apply the methodology to the case of the cisplatin drug interacting with a DOCP bilayer and compare the results with the energy characterization based on a classical force field.
