Montana State survives in Cheney for the second season in a row as they win a nail biter 38-35. Starting QB Tommy Mellott had to exit the game in the 1st Quarter after a vicious collision on a scramble, but backup QB Sean Chambers and second year RB Elijah Elliot step up in a big way and combine for 316 yards and 3 TDS. Sebastian Valdez continues his growth as one of the most formidable Interior Defensive Linemen in the FCS, gaining another sack and another forced fumble to add to his total for the season (5.5 Sacks, 3 FF). The Cats return to Bozeman next week to take on UC Davis under the lights and in front of a sold out crowd.
