After departing from Savona and passing Marseille—where we decide not to disembark, however—we finally reach our first real stop on land: Barcelona. We disembark not only out of curiosity, but also to meet a dear friend who lives here. After days on the ship, setting foot in the city again feels strange. The streets, the bars, the people going about their lives… everything suddenly seems "normal." Because life aboard a cruise ship is difficult to explain: it's like being inside a bubble. A huge, perfect, almost unreal environment, slowly navigating the Mediterranean, crossing international waters. Day after day, you lose track of time: lunches, dinners, buffets, shows... and the inevitable ginger mojitos. Barcelona becomes a brief respite from life on board. A stroll through the city, a chat with an old friend, the pleasure of feeling part of the real world again. But then we return to the ship. And the bubble begins again. Between restaurants, panoramic decks, and evening drinks, we face a long journey: a night and a full day of open sea. The ship leaves Spain behind and heads south. Next destination: Tunis. The Mediterranean continues to flow beneath the hull, while we try to understand if this life suspended between sea and land is a dream... or something even stranger.
