Ninja 1000 must have mods

Guys, yes I know the windshield looks terrible...absolutely makes the bike look stupid. But I'm 55 years old, 6'2, and bought the bike for sport TOURING. I wish I could find a shorter shield that would still give me a comfortable ride at highway speeds. Sometimes it is function over form.
