In a new interview, David Nuriyev, aka Ptakha, a former member of the legendary Moscow rap group "Center," celebrated his 45th birthday this week. He is one of the creators of Russian rap. Ptakha, Slim, and Guf formed in 2004 and within five years had become the leading stars of Russian hip-hop. In 2009, Guf left the group, and the group's fame transformed into legends. They were the first to bring real street music to show business, as they were formed on these streets and brought new lyrics and meanings to the masses.
