Dubstar (Live on The White Room - 24th Feb 1996)
I recorded this purely because Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds were on the same programme, I certainly wasn't a Dubstar before this performance. What impressed me most here was guitarist Chris Wilkie playing counter melody riffs everywhere instead of strumming chords. Everything else about this performance is spot on as well, it sounds great, looks great (fantastic direction) - not sure why this programme didn't last, it was the next generation on from The Word but without interviews and reports. First song is Anywhere followed by Not So Manic Now at 3:38
