Estelle - Changing perceptions about albinism
Estelle, a master’s student in criminology, has chosen to focus her thesis on the stigmatization of people with albinism in Abidjan. Through her personal account, she reflects on the misconceptions and fears she herself had as a child, before realizing that these beliefs stemmed from a lack of information and awareness about albinism. Today, she hopes to help change attitudes, particularly through education and greater awareness starting at a young age. Her journey underscores the importance of information in breaking down prejudices and fostering a more inclusive society. -------------------------------------- WEBSITE : https://www.fondationpierrefabre.org/fr FACEBOOK : / fondationpierrefabre TWITTER : / fondationpfabre LINKEDIN : / fondation_pierrefabre SUBSCRIBE : / @fondationpierrefabre
