In this video, you'll discover how to learn to play Ultimo's song "Dreams Hanging," using only basic chords. The aforementioned song consists of six chords (F#m, A, D, E, C#, and C#m), and in the video, you'll find the simplest way to play it. Considering that the fingers, starting from the thumb, are called 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively, the recommended right-hand fingering for the aforementioned chords is as follows: F#m (1 - 2 - 5); A (1 - 3 - 5); D (1 - 2 - 4); E (1 - 3 - 5); C# (1 - 3 - 5); C#m (1 - 2 - 5). If you'd like to play this song with your left hand, the recommended fingering would be as follows: F#m (5 - 3 - 1); A (5 - 3 - 1); D (5 - 3 - 1); E (5 - 3 - 1); C# (5 - 3 - 1); C#m (5 - 3 - 1). Finally, I'd like to point out that there are other ways to play these chords, using what are called "inversions," but this section of the video is intended for those who don't know the piano well, and the whole thing would be more complicated to manage. Practice the chord progression, first playing slowly and then gradually speeding up the passages until you reach the speed of the original song. You'll see that it will be very easy to learn.
