After standing on Buneci Beach for almost a week, we weighed anchor and headed towards Saranda and Ksamil. These two cities are famous for their picturesque beach areas. Ksamil has several beaches covered with coarse white sand: the 500-meter Sunset Beach, along which the main embankment with cafes and shops stretches, plus small beaches in picturesque bays - Bora Bora, Three Islands, Lori Beach, etc. In the summer season, they are filled with umbrellas and sun loungers offered for rent, and from September they become almost empty. Ksamil is a very tiny town in the southern part of Albania, not far from Saranda, in recent years has become a real resort. The Albanians themselves call this place the Albanian Maldives. The amazing color of the water, the purity and transparency of the sea attract a huge number of tourists from all over Europe. Local residents simply adore holidays in Ksamil and are very proud of such beautiful beaches and nature. The water off the coast is clean, bright emerald, and warm. The entrance to the sea is gentle, and the shore is protected from the waves by the picturesque Tetra Islands - thanks to this, the beaches of Ksamil are ideal for swimming with children.
