A Big Step for the Old House | Protecting Our Saplings & Chopping Wood
After a short break, we are back with a brand new chapter of our village restoration journey! This episode is packed with hard work, sweet moments, and significant progress on our old house. Inside the house, the construction takes a massive step forward as the masters pour the first concrete floor, laying the foundation for our future home. Outside, my mother and I are busy clearing the yard. Armed with the chainsaw, we chop down the unnecessary logs and wood around the house to keep everything neat and organized. We also take some time to care for nature; to protect our newly planted young saplings from the harsh summer sun, we carefully cover their roots with straw, ensuring they grow strong and healthy. Finally, we end the day with the sweet joy of harvesting fresh green plums straight from the trees. Join us to experience the satisfying sounds of chainsaw work, construction progress, and the peaceful rhythm of cinematic country living in Ordu, Turkey.
