This bus has been sold in 2021. The two lightweight vehicles (7601 and 7602) have been procured by Rheinbahn for experimental purposes. Because of the lower weight, these buses used less diesel fuel than conventional solo buses. The buses were located in the depot (Dusseldorf-) Heerdt and were mainly used in the left bank of the city of Dusseldorf or the surrounding cities (Neuss, Meerbusch, Kaarst). In January 2013, 60 VDL lightweight buses (type Citea LLE 120) were ordered. Between 2017 and 2019 another 91 buses of type VDL Citea LLE 120 were ordered (7801-7891). In 2021 the bus was sold to Homm Kft., Budapest (Hungary) (license plate 'SWH-346').
