This Monday, the 21st, poet, popular musician, and scholar of African roots in Brazilian culture @neilopesoficial will launch the 4th revised and expanded edition of his book "Bantos, Malês e identidade negra" (Bantos, Malês and Black Identity) in a live stream on the Grupo Autêntica YouTube channel. Participating in the discussion will be the coordinator of the Black Culture and Identities collection, Nilma Lino Gomes (@nilmalino13), and the professor of African History at UFRGS, @joserivairmacedo. This edition thoroughly updates the bibliography of the book originally released in 2007, including works by contemporary authors such as Elikia M’Bokolo, Carlos Moore, Alberto da Costa e Silva, and Jan Vansina, among others.
