A Father's Last Wish
We can finally see what happened to Spyro and how he ended up with Master Eon from the beginning. In this fan clip, my theory is that a purple dragon left it's egg on purpose and somehow tricked Eon in to coming to Spyro's location. So while Master Eon takes care of Spyro, that dragon can go and find it's family and bring them all home safely.
