Agia Marina is one of the most important tourist resorts in Chania. It is a long sandy beach with crystalline azure waters. Sheltered by a series of artificial coves, it is a great place for swimming even on windy days. The beach is well-organized, with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers, while it also provides facilities for a range of water sports so that the more adventurous can try their hand at jet skiing, windsurfing or water biking. Agia Marina boasts a considerable number of cafes, taverns, restaurants, hotels and rental rooms, while, to the west, there are also organized campsites all along the coastline till Kissamos Town.
