Endometrial polyps are a common cause of abnormal and heavy menstrual bleeding in reproductive age women. The diagnosis can sometimes me missed on an ultrasound. Therefore, when the abnormal bleeding does not respond to the usual medical management or curettages, endometrial polyps should always be kept in mind and hysteroscopic evaluation of uterine cavity should be done.
