There are several key terms related to these projection systems, which I will talk about, and those are: A pictorial drawing A paraline drawing I will not only talk to you about the definitions of these 4 art terms but also show you actual examples of: Cube in Multiview Cube in Obliques Cube in Axonometry Cube in One-point Perspective Cube in Two-point Perspective Cube in Three-point Perspective It is quite interesting because there are different ways how to draw a 3D cube (or any other 3D object) without using the perspective rules. The oblique drawing and axonometric drawing appear to be 3D (3 dimensional) but they are non-perspective projections. If you're an artist, a designer or an architect, you should definitely know these art terms and use them in practice! So, in this art tutorial I will also reveal to you how you can use this knowledge about projection systems in practice… … and I will show my drawings including a page from my art sketchbook, … but most importantly I will tell you a little trick how you can easily memorise these art terms!
