BASF is further expanding its existing AVEVA PI System, with a strong emphasis on gas emission monitoring and reporting. The current approach depends on multiple systems and significant manual effort, resulting in delays and an increased risk of errors. To overcome these challenges, BASF is collaborating with Batenburg Magion to develop a modern, web‑based emission reporting solution built on the AVEVA PI System. The solution is based on proven, EN‑standard–certified technology and provides end‑to‑end capabilities for data processing, validation, correction, and reporting. All calculations and reports are fully implemented within PI Asset Framework (PI AF), ensuring automatic recalculation after data corrections. This guarantees that users always work with consistent, reliable, and fully compliant emission data, in line with European regulatory requirements.
