ATLS - KG Hospital
A person severely injured in an accident should be handled carefully and given first aid in the form of Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). Our Chairman Dr G.Bakthavathsalam explains that the ATLS procedure should be initiated at the site of the accident, before the patient is being taken to hospital. There is a possibility that the accident victim might have suffered fractures in the neck and the hands, and got certain internal organs damaged
