The plot follows demon hunters Nero and Dante, along with the mysterious V, as they confront Urizen, a powerful demon king who has seized control of Red Grave City using a demonic tree called the Qliphoth. The narrative reveals that Urizen is the demon half of Vergil, Dante's brother, who split himself from his human half (V) to gain power. After Dante awakens from a coma and unlocks the Devil Sword Dante, the trio defeats Urizen. The story culminates with the dying V merging back with Urizen, restoring Vergil and reuniting the Sparda family.
