After blocking out my round the world trip to get Emerald status with Finnair, there was still some "juice in the lemon" so instead of flying from London directly back to Oslo, I decided to fly there via Doha on Qatar airways. And it only cost me the taxes and fees payable on the flights. I'd planned to go in March but geopolitical events rather got in the way, so I postponed the trip to May and had a great time! The conventional thinking is that companies can be big, or exceptional, but can't be both.
