El Lugar Donde el Cadaver del Rey Saúl fue Colgado | DECAPOLIS 4K

EPISODE 3 Bet She'an is one of the ten cities of the Decapolis and is located in the Jordan Valley. The origins of this city date back to the Chalcolithic era, but its heyday was in the Egyptian era. This city is mentioned in the Bible as one of the cities the Israelites failed to conquer upon reaching the Promised Land. On the walls of this city, the murdered bodies of King Saul and his sons were placed and later recovered by David's mighty men. Centuries later, this city changed its name to Scythopolis during the Hellenistic period. In the New Testament, in the story of the Gadarene demoniac, it is narrated that the demon-possessed man, after being freed from a legion, went throughout the Decapolis to tell of the great miracles Jesus had performed in his life. The well-preserved archaeological finds at Beth She'an make this city a true jewel of Israel.
