Arroz con Gandules Puertorriqueño a mi estilo y con ese sabor a campo!!! Bien Rico!!!

Hello everyone! God bless you all! Here I share my recipe for my delicious and authentic rice with pigeon peas and sausage, Toñitas style. The ingredients are... 3 cups of long rice 3 1/2 cups of water 1 can of pigeon peas (including their liquid) 2 tablespoons of cooking oil 2 tablespoons of sofrito (you can watch the video I have here on my channel on how to prepare a delicious and authentic sofrito/recaito) 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce 1 or 2 packets of Sazón Goya with cilantro and annatto 1 tablespoon of adobo seasoning 1 tablespoon of ground cumin 1 tablespoon of dried oregano Oregano 3 tablespoons of olives (I always use pre-chopped olives, and honestly, my favorite for my meals is the Goya brand) 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt 1 cup of salami of your choice (I use the Tropical brand) "A note I wanted to share that I didn't mention in the video": When you flip the rice after it dries the first time, let it sit for about 10 minutes before flipping it again, and then let it sit for another 10 minutes.
