However, on a rainy night, the crown holder during the 57th Vallenato Legend Festival is Sara Marcela Arango Pérez, a native of La Apartada, Córdoba, who at 19 years old achieved victory with unique skills displayed throughout the four days of the competition. Sara Arango was accompanied during the competition by Iván Antonio Romero Gutiérrez, on the snare drum, and Iván René Becerra Narváez, on the guacharaca.
