Cornwall | Lushington Beach Mine

Messing about on Lushington Beach, Porthtowan, Cornwall, 2019. In this video I am with a friend, Mr Van-Jackson. The last time I went in there I remember that I left as soon as I saw a small collection of condoms? They were in the little alcove that I stop and check at the beggining 😆 "Don't touch a thing, let's just leave!" I wanted to have a look before / incase it was fenced off properly. I don't think the mine was caved in, it was probably a wall with a small hole at the top. A friend of mine had crawled through the small hole that I didn't want to go through, apparently if I remember rightly, he said that it opens up to a big cavern on the other side. I'd spoken to him about it later that day, he called me a wimp for not going through the hole...an alive wimp though! 👍 I was more worried about falling straight down a hole in the dark, I'm not Cornish! It's a pleasant place to camp and not pricey at all. You're allowed fires (it's not camping without one!) and pets go free! It's also situated on the coast to coast trail, which I've ridden to Devoran.
