Nosebleed: Naak Nak Se Khoon Ana | Nakseer Phootna Ka Fori Ilaj | Epistaxis | Nakseer Kyun Aati Hai

Nosebleed (Epistaxis) Causes & Treatment. Naak / Nak Se Khoon Ana Ki Wajah, Nakseer Phootna Ka Fori Ilaj, Nakseer Kyun Aati Hai, Naak se khoon bahana. In medical terminology nose bleeding is also called Epistaxis (nak se khoon se ana). Nosebleeds can be scary, but in most cases they are not due to a serious health problem. There can be many different causes for having a nosebleed (naak se khoon kyon aata hai). Within our nose there is a network of small and fragile blood vessels which can easily burst and start bleeding (naak se khoon nikalna). This may be caused by picking the nose, rubbing the nose too vigorously, blowing the nose too hard or a minor injury to the nose. Infections such as the common cold cause inflammation in the nose and make nasal bleeding more likely. Overuse of nasal steroid sprays for nasal allergies can cause nose bleeds. Nose bleeds are more likely in hot and humid conditions. Use of blood thinning medications such as warfarin, aspirin and clopidogrel can increase the chances of a nose bleed (nakser se khoon ana). The risk of nose bleeds is also increased in people who haveo blood clotting disorders or high blood pressure. The first aid measures required to immediately stop a nosebleed are discussed in the video (nakseer ka desi ilaj). It is important to sit on a chair and lean slightly forward, then pinch the soft part of the nose continuously for 10 to 15 mins. Applying an icepack over the bridge of the nose can also he helpful. If the nosebleed does not stop when you release pressure from the nose after 10 to 15 minutes then it is important to immediately attend the hospital emergency department for further treatment to control the bleeding (nak se khun ka ilaj). Other situations in which attending a hospital emergency department is important include; • A very heavy nosebleed • If you have a blood clotting disorder or are on blood thinning medications • If you start to feel faint, dizzy, short of breath, palpitations • If you feel blood is dripping backwards into your throat and you feel like vomiting • If a nose bleed started after a face or head injury There are three main nose bleeding treatments (nose bleeding ka ilaj):. • The first treatment is the use of antibiotic ointment (nakseer ki dawa). This is applied inside the nostrils. It is a very effective treatment in children. • The second treatment for nose bleeds (naak ki nakseer ka ilaj) is nasal cauterisation or cautery. Here a stick containing a chemical called silver nitrate is applied briefly to the bleeding blood vessel inside the nose and it helps to seal the blood vessel. • The third treatment is nasal packing. This involves packing the nose with special sponges for 24 to 48 hours. These sponges apply pressure on the blood vessels within the nose and stop them from bleeding. Can nasal bleeding be a sign of a serious disease such as nose cancer or a blood clotting disorder? This is rare, but this is the reason why it is important to consult with a doctor regarding a nosebleed even if it has been stopped at home with the help of first aid measures. It is important to consult with a doctor particularly if you start having regular or heavy nosebleeds, or if the nosebleed happens in a child under the age of 2, or if you start developing any symptoms of anaemia (tiredness, short of breath, palpitations, chest pain, pale skin, etc), or if you are on blood thinning medications. If you suffer from regular nosebleeds there are certain nose bleeding precautions you can take to reduce the chances of having further nose bleeds (nakseer ka gharelu ilaj, nakseer ka desi ilaj). These include: • Avoid rubbing or picking your nose • Keep nails short • Avoid blowing your nose hard • Apply saline nasal spray, nasal drops or Vaseline inside the nose to prevent it from drying up • Use a humidifier in your room in dry conditions • Avoid smoking as this increases the risk of nasal cancer #nosebleed #nosebleeds #nosebleeding #epistaxis #sehatstudio
