The shape of the oil pan immediately identifies the JF015E CVT—the same CVT installed in the Renault Arkana, Kaptur, and Lada Vesta. The car is equipped with a Start-Stop system. This component blocks access to the fine filter, so for full maintenance, it must be removed—only then is the filter bowl accessible. The cooling system is standard: there is no CVT radiator, and two fittings exit the heat exchanger, indicating a classic design without additional cooling. We'd like to highlight the design: The Samsung XM3 features rear disc brakes instead of drums, as well as more advanced noise and heat insulation for the underbody—everything is covered with plastic and protection. 🔧 Actual Condition At 40,000 km, the oil was in poor condition, with a distinct odor—its lifespan had been completely exhausted. The oil pan, as with all JF015E models, contained a significant amount of fine metal dust on the magnets. 🛠 What We Did — Removed the Start-Stop unit to access the filter — Replaced the fine filter — Removed the oil pan, thoroughly washed and cleaned the magnets — Cleaned the coarse filter and reinstalled Regarding the coarse filter: it's not a traditional filter, but rather an oil intake with a metal mesh, so it doesn't need to be replaced during a regular oil change. We recommend replacement only if a non-original filter is installed, as their quality is poor. In all other cases, the filter is washed and reused. The original filter is always available if needed. — Completely flushed the oil — Adjusted the oil level through the overflow tube — Tightening torque for fasteners: 8 Nm We used IDEMITSU CVTF l-GREEN-2, the original product for the JF015E. Similar specifications: Nissan NS-3, Mitsubishi J4. 📌 Important Jatco, as the manufacturer of the JF015E CVT, recommends changing the oil every 40,000 km, regardless of the "lifetime fluid" claims. 🔍 Summary A complete change required approximately 8 liters of oil. All work was performed using proven technology, adhering to regulations and the design features of the JF015E CVT.
