オスプレー新作バックパック『タロンベロシティ30(Osprey Talon Velocity )』自腹購入して紹介します!【旅行VLOG、レビュー】登山、トレイルランニング、スピードハイク向け!
I recently purchased a new backpack, so I'd like to introduce it to you. This time, I paid for it myself and it's not sponsored. The Osprey Talon Velocity 30 is a mountaineering backpack. It's designed for speed hiking and features a vest-style shoulder harness. https://amzn.to/3w3K88O It's very breathable. It's perfect for an old man like me who sweats a lot (lol). It measures 60cm high x 32cm wide x 33cm deep and weighs 1,010g. I purchased this because my Mont-Bell Galena Pack 30 was getting old. I'd been using it for about 10 years, and the zippers had stopped working and the netting had become loose. It was a useful backpack on my trip to Switzerland last year, but I've decided it's time to retire it. https://niyodogawa.org/blog/outdoor/c... The Galena Pack doesn't have a rain cover, making it easy to access things. Not only does it have a space between the zippered pocket and the main compartment, it's also handy for throwing in things like jackets. I wanted a backpack with that kind of ease of use. The shoulder harness has a smartphone pocket. It's large enough to easily fit an iPhone 15 Pro Max. There's a sub-pocket below the right drink pocket. The waist belt has a zippered pocket. It's large enough to easily fit an iPhone 15 Pro Max. It seems like it would be good for storing snacks. The main compartment has a hook-fastened top cover. It's a drawstring closure. It's a single-compartment design that's accessed from the top. Access is only possible from the top, and there's no zipper. Since it can't be divided into smaller compartments, you have to be careful about the order in which you put your belongings. It seems like you'll have to be careful about the order in which you put your belongings. On the flip side, this is actually an advantage in terms of security. You don't have to worry about someone opening the back zipper and stealing your belongings in the street. There are large net pockets on the sides and front. The material is very stretchy. It can be accessed not only from the top but also from the back (side). It seems convenient because you can take things in and out of the backpack without taking it off. The back length can be adjusted to fit your needs. It simply attaches with Velcro. The back length can be adjusted up to 10cm. The main compartment has a secret pocket for your wallet or passport. It has a key hook. You can tie a sleeping mat to it. There are trekking pole holders so you can store folded trekking poles without taking the backpack off. I want to use it on international trips, so I wondered if it would fit in carry-on luggage. I measured it and it was 55cm to the top. For example, Emirates' carry-on luggage regulations are 55x38x22cm, totaling 115cm and weighing 7kg. The depth should be fine if I compress it. I tried packing my hiking gear. This time, I'm packing for a two-day trip, staying in a mountain hut. First, I put in the inner sheet. I use the futons and sleeping bags provided at mountain huts, and I use them as a matter of etiquette. They're also convenient for changing clothes. I put my tent in. Just in case, I use a Mont-Bell "Tencho" as a talisman. https://niyodogawa.org/blog/outdoor/c... I know I shouldn't need to use it, but... I don't bring a cooker when staying in huts. I bring lunch that doesn't need to be heated. I put my change of clothes in a waterproof stuff sack. The Osprey Talon Velocity 30 is not waterproof. It doesn't come with a rucksack cover. I put anything I don't want to get wet in a waterproof stuff sack. I have down pants and a down jacket for warmth. I buy rice balls and sweet bean buns at a convenience store. I also have an emergency kit. I store my rainwear in the front net pocket so I can put it on quickly. I put my fine rope, army knife, compass, and headlamp in my waist pocket. My whistle is attached to my chest belt. Gloves can be stored in the side net pocket for easy access. You can also attach an ice axe, trekking poles, and sleeping mat. A helmet can be stored in the top compartment. I used hydration with the Galena Pack. This backpack is also hydration compatible. However, I'm concerned about hygiene, so I've recently started using 2L plastic bottles. Detailed blog: https://niyodogawa.org/blog/outdoor/c...
