[The meaning of training] [Public recording] ~Buddhism is self-improvement, what is the meaning of training~ Training itself is not great, but training is done to gain wisdom. If you do not gain wisdom as a result of training, then that training is meaningless. In other words, no matter how hard and rigorous the training, it is meaningless if you act arrogant afterwards. Live better. Seeking the right direction, I think living honestly is the Buddhist way of life. If you make a mistake, correct it, if you fail, try again. All experiences should be meaningful. I think it can be said that self-improvement is Buddhist training. =Words of Michio Hoshino= Someone once asked me this. For example, suppose you were alone looking at a starry sky like this or a sunset that makes you cry. If you had a loved one, how would you convey that beauty and the feelings you had at that time? Maybe I should take a photo, or if I'm good at painting, I should paint it on a canvas, or maybe I should just tell them in words. That person said, "You change yourself...
