Fathers Day Inside Angola Prison | First Ever Father and Son Reunification

This Father’s Day, 46 fathers inside Angola Prison were given something many of them thought they may never experience again: a full day with their sons. 62 boys walked through the gates for a day filled with fishing, football, golf, BBQ, laughter, and memories they will carry for the rest of their lives. For many of the fathers, it was their first time ever holding a fishing rod, learning right alongside their kids. But this day was about so much more than activities. Each dad wrote his son a personal letter and handed him a Bible to take home. Words of love, apology, hope, faith, and legacy were shared face to face. And when the rain came, they didn’t run for cover… they danced in it. A routine they had rehearsed just for their boys. This was a day of breaking cycles, building legacies, and proving that restoration is always possible. Second chances are worth fighting for.
